What is Beautiful about Sub Saharan africa? |
When visiting South Africa, one of the most beautiful aspects of their culture is summed up in the term "T.I.A," or "This is Africa." This phrase was lovingly said anytime someone was late, which is almost all of the time. Time rarely constrains someone who lives in this region-- a quality that makes every conversation more enjoyable. People were always invested in whatever was right in front of them, and they were never concerned with the next thing that was happening. The wildlife is beautiful and the landscapes are inspiring. Since the environment is vastly different in Africa than America, it causes visitors to admire the beauty of nature.

Many of the challenges in Sub Saharan Africa stem from overpopulation. Overall, population growth in this region emanates from lower mortality rates and and increase in child birth. Poverty, disease, and economic issues are all a result of the region holding more people than it is capable. Many people struggle with HIV/AIDS, and with little access to any kind of healthcare, it is difficult to overcome. Since there are many different religions and cultures, conflict can arise as ideas clash with each other. Overall, many people in Sub Saharan Africa exist at a relatively low standard of living, increasing the difficulty of life.

What are the people of Sub Saharan Africa like? |
Even though people in Sub Saharan Africa are from many different tribes, they are often able to speak multiple languages. They live in dry, hot climates and often are surrounded by flat land. Most Africans have been successful in adapting to this desert-like environment. Additionally, many inhabitants of Sub Saharan Africa are European settlers whose family lines reach back to the colonial era. Religion plays a major role in Sub Saharan Africa. Christianity and Islam are prominent in this region, and many recently converted to Roman Catholicism on the coasts of Sub Saharan Africa. Traditional religions are also regularly practiced, and worshiping ancestors or spirits is common. Generally, many people of Africa communicate ideas through stories or myths.
